OFF TO SUN VALLEY, IDAHO

Why Ski Sun Valley?
Sun Valley isn’t just another ski destination, it’s a place where history, luxury, and adventure collide. Nestled in the heart of Idaho, it offers breathtaking scenery, world-class skiing, après ski options within walking distance of our hotel and a charm of its own.

Legendary Terrain: Home to Bald Mountain and Dollar Mountain, Sun Valley caters to all skill levels, from beginner-friendly slopes to heart-pounding steep bowls. One ski ticket serves both.  Bald Mountain and Dollar Mountain are about 2 miles apart. There are free buses that run every 20 minutes, making it easy to travel between the two ski areas.

Sun Valley is known for its consistent snow and uncrowded slopes.  Bald Mountain is known for its diverse terrain, steeps, and long vertical runs, while Dollar Mountain is more beginner-friendly, featuring gentler slopes and terrain parks.  With 3400 vertical feet, 2054 acres Skiable terrain, 9150 feet Peak Elevation, 5750 feet Base Elevation, 220 inches Annual Snowfall.

Here's a breakdown of the terrain:

Beginner: 36% of the mountain is beginner-friendly, with great learning areas on Dollar Mountain and Seattle Ridge.
Intermediate: 42% of the terrain is designed for intermediate skiers, featuring long, groomed runs perfect for cruising.
Advanced: 20% of the mountain is advanced, with challenging bowls and steeper sections on Bald Mountain.
Expert: Only 2% of the terrain is rated expert, meaning extreme skiers may fi
nd limited options.
