Transportation to and from resort on Land Packages

Transfers between airports and hotels are arranged for the main group and are coordinated with the main group’s flight itineraries.  It is incumbent upon the participants to adhere to this recommendation, cost for off schedule transportation will be the responsibility of the participant.

 

Roommate requirement

It is the responsibility of the participant to identify a qualified roommate.  The Trip Coordinator will aid, however, if a roommate is not identified prior to trip cancellation date, the participant has the option to pay for a single supplement if available or cancel less club cancellation fee before final payment.


Why Choose This Trip

The Texas Ski Council chose Park City for TSC 2024 Winter shootout and several other ski clubs will join us. There will be plenty activities including big welcome party, ski races and dinner party.
Park City resort opened 60 years ago in 1963, the resort has been a major tourist attraction for skiers from all over the United States.
The resort was purchased by Vail Resorts in 2014 and combined the resort with neighboring Canyons Resort via an interconnect gondola to create the largest lift-served ski resort in the United States. 
Park City is famous for having the “greatest snow on earth!” Its high altitude and cold, dry air combine to create snow that’s low in moisture. This makes it exceptionally powdery, lightweight and fluffy. It’s the “champagne snow” that skiers long for but don’t always find — except in a few special locations. 

Accommodations: Snow Flower Condominium

Snow Flower offers ski-in/ski-out lodging at the base of Park City Mountain with the First Time, Three Kings, and Eagle Chairlifts just outside your door. Three Kings and First Time serve green runs, and Eagle will take you up to blues and blacks.

We have good size 2 bedroom - 2 bath condos with full kitchens, gas fireplace and dining area.

The property also boasts two heated pools, jetted spa, laundry facilities, ski locker rooms to store equipment. Centrally located within the town of Park City, Snow Flower Condominiums provide easy access to shopping, dining, and recreational opportunities and are on Park City’s complimentary transit system.

The Town of Park City :

Park City was incorporated as a city in 1884 and the mountains' abundant silver veins attracted adventurers from around the world in the late 1860's. However, with falling mineral prices in the 1930's, the booming years ended and residents began "mining" the treasure on the mountains, discovering what would later be called The Greatest Snow on Earth.

In 2002, Park City became a field of dreams for athletes at the Winter Olympic Games. Park City Mountain hosted four events and six of the ten U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team medals were won on the mountain. 
Today, Park City is a unique blend of new and old with remnants of its history still scattered across the mountain

Park City Mountain Resorts boasts 7,300 acres of skiable terrain, over 330 trails, 43 lifts, 6 terrain parks and ski-in-ski-out access to historic Main Street.  Park City Mountain offers endless adventures for every level of skier or snowboarder to enjoy.
Base Elevation is 6800 ft, top Elevation is 10,020 ft and it creates 3200 ft high ski hill.

Lift Tickets :  ICON Pass holder will have access to ski at Park City.


Unlike years in the past, the Space City Ski Club will not be selling lift tickets for this trip.  Instead, you can purchase Epic Passes at the price offered from our Tour Operator, Sports America using this link: http://www.sportsamerica.com/epic-spacecity

Online registration for Park City begins August 21, 2023!! Make certain that your membership and online profile are up to date on https://www.spacecity.org/ as tears will not help once the trip is sold out. However, a waiting list will be available for those without tears.
