Transportation to and from resort on Land Packages
Transfers between airports and hotels are arranged for the main group and are coordinated with the main group’s flight itineraries. It is incumbent upon the participants to adhere to this recommendation, cost for off schedule transportation will be the responsibility of the participant.
Roommate requirement
It is the responsibility of the participant to identify a qualified roommate. The Trip Coordinator will aid, however, if a roommate is not identified prior to trip cancellation date, the participant has the option to pay for a single supplement if available or cancel less club cancellation fee before final payment.

Why Choose this trip?
Join the Space City Ski and Adventure Club as we continue our beach travels to Costa Rica. Costa Rica is famous for the available tours and excursions outside of the resort.
Accommodations
The Hotel Riu Palace Costa Rica, is located in Guanacaste, Costa Rica on the edge of the beach of Matapalo.
The hotel includes just about everything you could want. This hotel, fully prepared to provide the best service to its customers, has four swimming pools (one with a swim-up bar), Jacuzzi, gym, sauna and a wellness center "Renova Spa" with different treatments and massages. Everything you need for maximum comfort during your stay. Being in a privileged environment, the resort area offers a variety of activities on the beautiful beaches such as diving or fishing in the Pacific waters, or daily programs of entertainment for all ages. The facilities offer table tennis, tennis courts, volleyball, windsurfing, sailing, snorkeling equipment, kayaks and other water activities. If your sport is golf, the Four Seasons Golf Club has fantastic views over the sea. There is also a night club for those not worn out from the tour earlier in the day.
More Than Just the Beach
Although the all-inclusive resort has plenty of activities for most, we will have some optional off-site excursions available most days. Costa Rica is a beautiful country with many things to see and do including beaches, rain forests, waterfalls and volcanos. Some nature tours will allow you to enjoy the beauty of the island. In addition to the amazing scenery you will be able to see and interact with wildlife including sloths and monkeys. Other tours will be more adventurous like ATV riding, white water rafting, fishing, horseback riding and zip lining. Costa Rica has some of the best zip lining in the world.
The Dining Experience
The dining experience is amazing also. The quality of the cuisine offered at the different restaurants of the resort is exceptional thanks to the chefs, who prepare a variety of dishes from classic to exotic. You’ll want to try each of the menu selections thanks to the all-inclusive service. You’ll be able to enjoy the buffet restaurant or choose from a casual, Japanese, Italian and a steakhouse restaurant. We typically meet every day at breakfast at the massive buffet.

The Ocean view rooms will come with either a king or two double beds. There is satellite TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, minibar and beverage dispenser and a coffee maker. The bathroom includes a hydro massage bathtub
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation
Travel and Shuttle. We will fly to Liberia (Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport) Costa Rica and then take a shuttle to our destination. Our club chose to use the resort shuttle system so choosing your own airline and flight times are easier. This trip is offered as Land only.
Online registration for Costa Rica begins August 28, 2023!! Make certain that your membership and online profile are up to date on https://www.spacecity.org/ as tears will not help once the trip is sold out. However, a waiting list will be available for those without tears.
