Transportation to and from resort on Land Packages
Transfers between airports and hotels are the responsibility of the participant. Given the hotel is 3 miles away, we are forgoing a group transfer so you can arrive when you choose.
Roommate requirement
It is the responsibility of the participant to identify a qualified roommate. The Trip Coordinator will aid, however, if a roommate is not identified prior to trip cancellation date, the participant has the option to pay for a single supplement if available or cancel less club cancellation fee before final payment.
Forms of Payment
SCSC will no longer accept cash as payment for trips. Credit Card, Check, Cashier’s Check and Money Orders are acceptable forms of payment.

Whether you're a foodie, history buff, or outdoor enthusiast, there is something for you.
San Diego’s appeal lies in its versatility. From world-class attractions like the San Diego Zoo to the city’s 70 miles of coastline, San Diego is a dynamic destination.
Accommodations
We will be staying at the Embassy Suites – San Diego Bay, right on Pacific Coast Highway and convenient to both the Gaslamp Quarter and the Pacific Ocean. Amenities include a free made-to-order breakfast and evening cocktails, concierge, fitness center and more.
Getting there!
This is a land only trip and available from a variety of air carriers. Given the proximity of the airport to the hotel (just 3 miles away) participants should plan to fly into San Diego International Airport (SAN) and taxi or Uber to the Embassy Suites. There will be no group ground transfers, so arrive when best for you.

Iconic Attractions
• San Diego Zoo (Balboa Park): A world-renowned 1,200-acre park with natural habitats, an aerial tram, and a panda exhibit. Nighttime events in 2025 offer unique wildlife experiences under the stars.
• Balboa Park: The cultural heart of San Diego, home to museums, a Japanese garden, and the iconic Botanical Building, reopened in 2025 after renovations.
• USS Midway Museum: Explore this historic aircraft carrier for an immersive look at naval history.
Outdoor Adventures
