Trip Highlights & Itinerary
One of the best parts of this adventure is that every day offers something completely different. You'll explore centuries of history, meet talented local artisans, experience authentic Mexican culture, savor outstanding cuisine, and still have plenty of time to wander the colorful streets and discover your own favorite hidden corners of this remarkable city.
Day 1-4/25- Arrive at León/Bajío International Airport (BJX) at 1:43 p.m. Enjoy the scenic 1½ to 2-hour drive to San Miguel de Allende before checking into Hotel La Morada. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to settle in and begin exploring this enchanting colonial city before joining the group for our Club Welcome Dinner.
Day 2- 4/26-Breakfast at the hotel
10:00 AM- Guided walking tour of San Miguel. (approx. 2 hours) This includes a walk through the historic area of San Miguel that will show you the architecture, history and culture of this beautiful town. You will visit churches and historic landmarks where you will learn everything about the founding and the past of this unforgettable destination.
1:00 PM-Art and Artisan Studios; an immersive experience where you will explore the city’s creative scene and meet some of the local artists.

Day 3-4/27-Breakfast at the hotel
Today we'll venture beyond San Miguel to discover another UNESCO World Heritage treasure. Guanajuato is a wonderful complement to San Miguel and gives you an even deeper appreciation of central Mexico's culture and history.
Bus ride and walking tour to Guanajuato City. (Approx. 8 hours) Visit the incredible magical city of Guanajuato, with its colorful facades, fascinating landscapes, city tunnels and captivating museums. A cultural city like no other, Guanajuato offers something for everyone including a delicious lunch of regional Mexican food, intricate architecture and lots of history for those interested in Mexico’s colonial past. Lunch included, dinner on your own.
