WHY CHOOSE PARK CITY?
Welcome to one of North America's most iconic ski destinations. Park City combines world-class skiing, a lively mountain town, true ski-in/ski-out convenience, and the largest lift-served ski resort in the United States to create an unforgettable winter vacation. Whether you're carving freshly groomed trails, discovering Utah's famous powder, strolling Historic Main Street, or enjoying après ski with fellow Space City members, Park City offers something for every skier and snow lover. Unlike many ski resorts where the village exists primarily for skiers, Park City is a destination in its own right.

One of the highlights of this trip is participating in the 2027 Texas Ski Council Traditional, hosted this year in Park City. Space City Ski Club will join seven other Texas ski clubs for a week of exceptional skiing, organized social events, and opportunities to reconnect with old friends while making new ones. Throughout the week, you'll enjoy a Welcome Reception, Farewell Dinner, and other fun activities that have made the Traditional one of the most anticipated events on the Texas ski calendar.

Since opening in 1963, Park City Mountain has become one of North America's premier ski destinations. In 2014, Vail Resorts connected Park City Mountain with neighboring Canyons Village via the Quicksilver Gondola, creating the largest lift-served ski resort in the United States. This unique connection allows skiers to experience two distinct mountain areas during the same ski day.

The Greatest Snow on Earth®
Park City is famous for Utah's legendary "Greatest Snow on Earth®." It's more than just a catchy slogan. The state's unique combination of high elevation, cold temperatures, and low humidity creates exceptionally light, dry snow with very little moisture. The result is the soft, fluffy powder skiers dream about, offering smooth carving, forgiving turns, and outstanding skiing conditions throughout the season. It's the kind of snow that keeps visitors returning to Utah year after year and one of the reasons Park City has earned its reputation as one of North America's premier ski destinations.

Legendary Skiing
Park City Mountain is the largest lift-served ski resort in the United States, offering an incredible 7,300 skiable acres connected by an extensive network of lifts and trails. With terrain for every ability level, you'll find everything from wide-open beginner runs and perfectly groomed cruisers to exciting tree skiing, bowls, and expert terrain. Whether you enjoy leisurely scenic skiing or challenging yourself on steeper runs, Park City offers enough variety to discover something new every day of the trip.
  • Base Elevation: 6800 ft
  • Summit Elevation: 10,026 ft
  • Vertical Drop: 3226 ft
  • Skiable Area: 7300 acres across 17 Peaks
  • Terrain Breakdown: (Beginner 8%/ Intermediate 42%/ Advanced 50%)
  • Number of Runs: 330 trails, 41 lifts, 6 terrain Parks

Olympic Legacy
Park City earned worldwide recognition as a host venue during the 2002 Winter Olympic Winter Games, and its Olympic spirit remains part of the community today. Many of the venues continue to train world-class athletes, and you'll be skiing at a resort that has welcomed Olympic competitors from around the globe. It's a unique opportunity to experience a destination where recreational skiers and elite athletes share the same remarkable mountain environment.

Explore Historic Park City
While skiing may bring you to Park City, its historic downtown is one of the reasons visitors return year after year. Beautifully restored buildings from the town's silver mining days now house award-winning restaurants, lively après ski spots, art galleries, local boutiques, museums, and the famous High West Distillery. Whether you're enjoying dinner with friends, shopping along Main Street, or simply soaking in the mountain-town atmosphere, Historic Park City offers an experience that's every bit as memorable as skiing.
Park City was incorporated as a city in 1884 and the mountains' abundant silver veins attracted adventurers from around the world in the late 1860's. Mineral, with falling mineral prices in the 1930's, the booming years ended and residents began "mining" the treasure on the mountains, discovering what would later be called The Greatest Snow on Earth.

Today, Park City is a unique blend of new and old with remnants of its history still scattered across the mountain. Complimentary town buses and the free Town Lift make it easy to travel between the mountain and Historic Main Street, so exploring Park City is simple even without a car.

Accommodation: Snow Flower Condominiums
One of the greatest advantages of this trip is staying at Snow Flower Condominiums. With true ski-in/ski-out access and three chairlifts just steps from your door, you'll spend more time enjoying the mountain and less time worrying about transportation.

Snow Flower offers ski-in/ski-out lodging at the base of Park City Mountain with the First Time, Three Kings, and Eagle Chairlifts just outside your door. Three Kings and First Time serve green runs, and Eagle will take you up to blues and blacks. We have good size 2 bedroom - 2 bath condos.  Each condo has a full kitchen, a dining area and a gas fireplace. The property also boasts two heated pools, jetted spa, laundry facilities, and ski locker rooms to store equipment. Centrally located within the town of Park City.  Snow Flower Condominiums provide easy access to shopping, dining, and recreational opportunities and are on Park City’s complimentary transit system.
