MARDI GRAS-GALVESTON FESTIVITIES
Z Krewe has the ideal way to enjoy Mardi Gras in Galveston, called Zestival. Ellen Eastham is a Z Krewe member, as well as Tom Danowski, Marilyn Swanson, and Larry Robinson. Ellen extends an invitation for SCSC to attend Zestival, and participate in a parade. SCSC members that attend are called “Downhill Krewe,” It is much more fun to have friends you know celebrate Mardi Gras festivities together.
ZESTIVAL
Balcony and indoors party at 2025 Strand Street. Come & go to the street below. Z Krewe theme, “Give My Regards to Broadway”

6pm-12am $90 1/ Mardi Gras or theme attire
Zestival 2 Feb 22, Saturday
12pm-12am $175 1/ 2/ Mardi Gras or theme attire
Zestival 3 Feb 28 , Friday
6pm-12am $100 1/ Pirates attire theme party
Zestival 4 Mar 1, Saturday
12pm-12am $185 1/ 2/ Mardi Gras or theme attire
1:30pm- view Z Krewe Parade
3 and 6pm Vince King, Elvis Tribute Artist performance
Each Zestival party includes:
- Toss your beads from large balcony
- View 3-5 parades pass by from balcony (depends on day)
- 1 meal Fri, 2 meals Sat, plus snacks all day
- DJ and dancing
- Open Bar, includes premium liquor, wine, beer, shots, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Strand Pass for entry at gate
- Costumes optional; suggested for frivolity
- Discount offered for Fri & Sat weekend purchase

Beads not included in price. Ellen will contact you about beads purchase, or you may bring your own.
2/ Sat parties 2/22 and 3/1 will sell out in advance.
PARADE PARTICIPATION
Feb 21 Fri - Funky Uptown Umbrella Brigade (Parade)
- Line up under Z Krewe balcony 21st Str at Strand Str 7:30-8:00
- Parade begins at 8:30pm
- Decorate an umbrella for free admission to Strand, or pay $26 gate fee to watch.
